Coronavirus Update - LKF
Please find latest news down below.
In the light of the dynamic circumstances around the Coronavirus, LKF would like to reassure you that we are constantly monitoring the situation with the goal of maintaining uninterrupted shipments of our supplies to your clinical sites as well as biological specimens to LKF, while also protecting the health of our employees.
Although some countries have closed their borders the merchandise traffic is mainly still possible. Please always allow some time for a delivery as additional transit time may apply for shipments. Currently we are performing all supplies to the U.S. with FedEx. A Temporary Surcharge on all FedEx and TNT shipments due to restrictions in the global supply chain and limited cargo capacity does apply. The transport of manufacturing goods with Special Express via the country is possible with time delays due to the traffic. Additional costs for transports may apply. The possibilities for each transport need to be checked individually. Please get in contact with LKF if you need any support. The situation changes on a daily basis and there is no guarantee that the status that may apply today will apply the next days as well. We will try to keep you updated as soon as possible. In case of any questions please contact the project team via email (project(at)lkf-kiel.de) or phone (+49 4307 8276-0).
Please also view our Business Continuity Plan for an outbreak of infectious diseases.
