New Regulation (EU) 2021/1408 amending Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 as regards the maximum levels of tropane alkaloids in certain foodstuffs. These amendments will apply from 19.09.2021. A sell-by period will be granted for certain foodstuffs until the best before date. These are listed in the linked attachment. After a long period of working separated either from home or in different shifts, we are very happy to welcome back more and more employees working together in teams again in our facility at LKF (member of GBAGroup). With the draft SANTE 11183-2018 Rev.0 in the course of the #Greendeal, maximum levels for perfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) in certain foods are to be newly added to Regulation (EC) 1881/2006. PFASs exhibit toxic properties and are suspected carcinogens. That is why it is extremely important to test for them in food products.
