The maximum residue levels for chlorpyriphos and chlorpyriphos-methyl will soon be lowered to the analytical limit of quantification, 0.01 mg/kg, because their approval was withdrawn.

With the publication of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/1085 on July 23rd, 2020, this maximum residue level (MRL) will now be incorporated into the pesticide Regulation (EC) 396/2005.

This MRL enters into force on November 13th, 2020!

Our environmental laboratory in Berlin is now accredited according to DIN EN ISO 17025:2018! The team in Berlin has built up and established the laboratory for environmental analysis during the last year and has successfully passed several audits in 2020. It is now fully operational.

The German Fruit & Vegetable Congress will take place on 21. and 22.09.2020 at the Congress Center Düsseldorf. Due to Corona, the 10th event in this series will be held in a slightly different format. With close to 20 years of experience in phototoxicity studies in Balb/c 3T3 cells according OECD 432 and ICH S10 and under GLP, testing for cytotoxicity under irradiation is routine to us. We also use 3D human skin models in phototoxicity tests under GLP to provide an additional option for testing of skin care formulations or pharmaceuticals for topical application.
