Hamburg/Mönchengladbach, September 5th, 2019. Last year, biomess Ingenieurbüro GmbH, located in Mönchengladbach already became part of the GBA Group. Now, biomess Ingenieurbüro GmbH has merged with GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik mbH (GBA).

The merger is based on the GBA Group’s very strong development on the market for asbestos analysis as well as the very close cooperation between the GBA locations that are involved. From now on, the ability to directly access a shared IT environment and to work together with a single quality management system will create even better conditions for further expanding our asbestos analysis, for example at our location in Berlin.

This year, the GBA Group will once again be represented at the German Fruit and Vegetable Conference (Deutschen Obst and Gemüse Kongress – DOGK) in Düsseldorf on September 16th and 17th, 2019. The DOGK is an event for getting the latest information and networking, and it sparks new and important impulses for the German fruit and vegetable sector. The conference provides a great platform for making valuable business connections with a wide variety of partners throughout the entire supply chain of the fruit and vegetable sector.

GBA will be holding a presentation at the Specialist Forum for Environmental Analysis on September 5th, 2019. This event is taking place in the context of the Annual Conference for the Laboratory Service Sector in Giessen at the Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences (Technischen Hochschule Mittelhessen, THM). Dr. Sven Steinhauer will be moderating and providing information concerning the issues being dealt with at this specialist forum for environmental analysis.

On September 18th, 2019, the foodactive Supply Chain Day will take place in Hamburg for the first time. You can look forward to exciting speakers and examples of best practices. Together with our partner, foodactive, we will shed light on the processes of the food supply chain.

KG, the operator of www.wassertest-online.de, which is the leading online platform in Germany for drinking water testing for end consumers. With the merger, existing and potential customers will benefit even more directly from the expertise of the GBA Group in the future. Furthermore, for the GBA Group and IVARIO, this lays the cornerstone for the cooperative development of further online test services for private households in Germany and Western Europe. IVARIO was founded in Hamburg by Saskia Gerber, Sascha Zielinski, and Söhnke Mücke in 2013. Today the company is Germany’s leading online provider of drinking water analyses for consumers. With IVARIO’s environmental tests, the company made it its task from the very beginning to provide consumers with a pragmatic, inexpensive possibility to conduct tests of their surroundings on their own and have them analyzed for harmful substances.
