Hamburg Chamber of Commerce Honors GBA Trainee

On Wednesday, November 13th, 2019, André Mücke, Vice President of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, and Ties Rabe, the Hamburg Senator for Schools and Professional Education, honored the excellent work done by trainees in Hamburg as well as the companies that provide them with professional training. On the forefront of this: GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik and our trainee. There are over 2,000 companies providing professional training in Hamburg, and with this year’s award, the GBA Group is among the top 56 in the city. Not only did Vanessa Hagemann complete her training as a chemistry lab assistant with outstanding grades, but she was indeed the best in her graduating class. Since completing her training, Ms. Hagemann continues to strengthen the GBA Group’s team, taking on additional tasks, such as teaching the next group of trainees.

Dr. Roland Bernerth, Global Head Food, and Mailin Dorn, Lead Training Coordinator, accepted the award on behalf of GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik. “We are very proud of this achievement,” said Dr. Roland Bernerth. “It confirms that the effort we put into providing professional training is a particularly good investment for our company. We want to maintain this high level. The trainees of today will help us reach our company’s goals in the future.” Mailin Dorn added: “The selection process for 2020 begins next February, but we are already gladly accepting applications now.”

It was just a few weeks ago that DIE WELT listed GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik as a highly attractive company to work for, among “Germany’s best employers.”
