On May 18th, 2019, the kids club of the VDI (Association of German Engineers) visited our lab in Mönchengladbach, biomess. The group of 18 children ages 6 and up, got to experience an exciting day in the laboratory with the theme of “magnification.” They were allowed to pick one of a variety of samples (e.g. salt, sugar, paper, insects) and observe it under a stereo microscope. Then the same samples were observed using a scanning electron microscope at a much higher degree of magnification. At the end, the kids were able to take home a picture of their “own” sample.

Am 28. März 2019 findet der diesjährige Zukunftstag (Girls'Day/Boys'Day) am Standort Hamburg statt. Wir freuen uns, dass insgesamt 19 Kinder in diesem Jahr daran teilnehmen. Am Zukunftstag geben wir den Kindern erste Einblicke in die Laborarbeit bei der GBA Group. Unter anderem werden Lebensmittel gemeinsam mit unseren Labormitarbeitern selbst untersucht und analysiert.
