The site is a testing laboratory accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.

With the acquisition of the service laboratory Thüringer Umweltinstitut Henterich, the GBA Group has expanded its regional presence in Eastern Germany. Founded in 1992 in Krauthausen, Thüringer Umweltinstitut Henterich GmbH & Co. KG (Thüringer Umweltinstitut) was originally called Eisenacher Umweltlabor. Its customers, which come from the fields of engineering services, utilities, and waste management, are provided with a wide analytical spectrum for the evaluation of soil, water, and air. The Thüringer Umweltinstitut stands for high-quality service and has developed a very good reputation in Thuringia, Hesse, and Lower Saxony over the years.
