25 years ANALYTIKUM Umweltlabor GmbH
ANALYTIKUM Umweltlabor GmbH celebrated its 25th anniversary this July! A reason to celebrate and to look to the past and the future.
The "cradle" of the company was in the Merseburg Innovation and Technology Center ("mitz"), close to the university. Mr. Reiner Ramonat and Mrs. Birgit Zimmermann are the founders and managing directors of the company. The company started in 1995 with 4 employees and a lot of optimism. 2 washing bowls were the first dishwasher and sampling (also ground water!) was of course part of the laboratory work.
ANALYTIKUM quickly developed into a regionally recognized environmental analytical service provider. The core business is still today environmental analysis, flanked by high-performance sampling. Both business areas have been integrated into a developing QMS from the beginning. To everyone's delight, the confirmation of competence according to DIN EN ISO 17025-2018 has just been obtained.
Today, the most modern technical equipment is available to the 27 specialists in the company's own premises, which were moved into in 2001, to examine all environmentally relevant media and materials in a quality-oriented manner. The main fields of activity of ANALYTIKUM lie in the remediation monitoring of old industrial sites, primarily within the framework of groundwater monitoring of the surrounding chemical industry, the analytical monitoring of deconstruction and demolition measures as well as investigations in individual sectors of the supply and disposal industry.
With the year 2019 a very exciting new era began for the company. ANALYTIKUM became part of the GBA Group in order to secure the long-term future of the site. ANALYTIKUM was warmly welcomed by the GBA Group, and was actively supported from day one. In 2019 the company invested in state-of-the-art analytical technology and created additional jobs.
In 2020 the task now is not just to defy "corona", but to work together with the GBA Group to create the basis for achieving further ambitious corporate goals in the future, and to develop Merseburg into a main location in eastern Germany.
