Successful participation of the GBA Group Laboratory Pinneberg in a JRC-EU study

For the 14th time, our laboratory in Pinneberg is participating with an analysis in a study of the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission. The JRC provides independent, fact-based knowledge content and scientific findings for the European Commission.

Certified reference materials (CRMs) are also produced and distributed by the JRC. These materials ensure that there are suitable reference materials for the analytical requirements of the European regulations. In this way, analytical methods can be validated and measurement results can be verified.

This time, our laboratory in Pinneberg supported the characterization study on the reference material ERM-CE103 (fish). Due to the difficult matrix, the substances to be analyzed and the low contents of the analytes, the investigations in these studies are usually very demanding and require a lot of experience. GBA Group has already successfully supported the JRC several times in studies on the characterization, stability or homogeneity of reference materials.
