New method for the analysis of ethylene oxide and 2-chloroethanol using the QuEChERS method and GC-MS/MS, published by the EU reference laboratories for pesticide residues

The EU specifies a limit of quantification (LOQ) of 0.05 mg/kg. The GBAGroup has successfully established the new QuEChERS-method with a LOQ of 0.01 mg/kg. According to the current status of our analyses, various product groups, such as herbs and spices, are affected in addition to sesame.
