New MRLs for lead and cadmium

New regulations amending Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 with VO (EU) 2021/1317 for maximum levels of lead and VO (EU) 2021/1323 for maximum levels of cadmium in certain foodstuffs. These changes are effective immediately for imports and a grace period is granted until February 2022. Heavy metal analysis is routine at GBA Group.
