GBA Group expands range of services in the field of biological safety of medical devices

GBA Group acquires Medical Device Services – Dr. Rossberger GmbH (MDS) in Gilching, Germany. With this acquisition, we significantly expand our service portfolio in the field of medical devices qualification and will provide our customers with access to an even broader portfolio of analyses.

MDS was founded in 1994 in Gilching near Munich, currently employs more than 30 people and is one of Europe's leading providers for the qualification and evaluation of medical devices. The portfolio includes laboratory analyses and other services related to the qualification of the biological compatibility of products/materials, the qualification of manufacturing, cleaning, packaging, sterilization processes and packaging systems as well as the validation of the processability of medical devices.

MDS will be renamed to GBA Medical Device Services GmbH and is the 40th site for GBA Group. Continuous exchange between MDS and our other pharmaceutical laboratories will optimize our range of tests and provide new and existing customers with reliable analyses and solutions.
