Water Sampling

Water sampling is highly demanding for the sample taker. The analytical results can only be as good as the entire analytical process. This process begins with taking samples of drinking water, leachate, or groundwater, and ends with the evaluation of the results.

The GBA Group has proven its high quality as a laboratory that is accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17025 and whose processes and performance are regularly audited by the German accreditation body DAkkS.

All of our sample takers (internal as well as external) take part in independent and external training sessions for sampling and acquire the necessary qualifications and certificates for taking samples. Furthermore, they are integrated into the GBA Group’s own quality management system. This guarantees high-quality sampling that also fulfills the requirement of being impartial and unbiased.

In practice, we draw upon national and international standards, such as the DIN ISO 5667 series, DIN EN ISO 19458, DVGW worksheets, VDI guidelines, and UBA (German Environmental Protection Agency) recommendations.

Naturally, the sampling service also includes determining the correct sampling points. Our experts define them in accordance with the project requirements. We properly transport the samples to the lab site and analyze them there using accredited methods.
