Sustainability at GBA Group
As a responsible corporate group, we are aware of our role in society. This applies to us both as an international organization as well as a regional partner and local employer. Integrity, tolerance, social responsibility and economic and environmental sustainability are the guiding principles of our actions in our dealings with business partners and other social stakeholders.
Our goal
The GBA Group aims to take responsibility for tomorrow by acting sustainably today. As a team of over 2,500 employees worldwide, we strive to achieve long-term positive effects in every respect for our customers, employees and our environment.
Our corporate philosophy integrates ecological and social responsibility in order to do justice to future generations.
SDGs at GBA Group
The SDGs or Sustainable Development Goals, are an action plan established by the United Nations that aims to promote global peace and prosperity while protecting the planet.
The GBA Group recognizes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We are already making an important contribution to several goals and are constantly developing further.
SDG 3: Good Health and well-being
Ensuring a healthy life for all people of all ages and promoting their well-being
Our contribution:
The GBA Group already has many locations certified according to ISO 45001 (company work and health management) and integration is in preparation for the next locations. We hope that the implementation of ISO 45001 will minimize the risk of health damage and accidents in the workplace and that awareness of occupational safety and health will increase even further.
We want to strengthen this awareness through the measures and offers of our company health management such as the step challenge, non-smoking seminars and the use of the job bike program.
Our additional contribution
With our management approaches and projects, we not only support SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), but also expand these goals to include the important aspects of diversity and inclusion.
As part of SDG 4, we are committed to ensuring access to high-quality education and training for our employees.
We are also committed to SDG 5 by taking targeted measures to promote gender equality in all our activities. This includes creating a working environment in which equality, respect and equal opportunities prevail. We are actively committed to increasing the proportion of women in management positions and developing programs aimed at breaking down gender-specific barriers.
